Terms and conditions

Who these terms are with

This website is operated by M Hermansson AB, a firm incorporated under applicable laws of Sweden, having its registered office at Funbo-Bärby, Berggärden 18, 74152 Uppsala, Sweden. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use it.

What is on the site, and who owns it

The text, photographs, illustrations, design and code of this site are owned by us or used with permission, and are protected by copyright. Grej of the Day is our name for the method described here and is used as a trademark.

Book covers shown in the books section belong to their publishers and are displayed with their artwork, not ours. Client and partner logos belong to the organisations they identify, and are shown to indicate who Micke has worked with — not to imply those organisations endorse anything on this site.

What you may do with it

You are welcome to:

  • read, print and share pages of this site for your own use, or for use within your school or organisation;
  • quote from it, with attribution and a link;
  • link to any page on it, from anywhere, without asking.

Please ask first before you:

  • republish a substantial part of it, in print or online;
  • use the text, photographs or design in a commercial product or a course you charge for;
  • use the Grej of the Day name or logo to describe a product, service or training of your own.

Asking is usually a formality — write to micke@mickehermansson.se. Teachers using Grej of the Day in their own classrooms need no permission at all; that is what it is for.

Enquiries and bookings

The form on the “Work with Micke” page is a way of starting a conversation. Sending it, and receiving the automatic acknowledgement that follows, does not create a booking, reserve a date or form a contract. A booking exists when it has been agreed in writing between us, on terms set out separately — a fee, a date, what is expected of each side, and what happens if it has to be cancelled.

Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the form. It is a contact form, not a secure channel.

Accuracy

We take care that what is on this site is accurate when it is published. Figures that describe Micke's work — talks given, countries visited, books published, the size of the Grej of the Day community — are correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of writing and will not always be current.

Nothing here is professional advice. Descriptions of the method are a description of how it has been used, not a guarantee of what it will achieve in a particular classroom, school or system.

Availability

We try to keep the site available and working, but we do not promise that it always will be. It may be unavailable for maintenance, or because something has gone wrong, and we are not liable for any loss arising from it being unavailable.

This site links to other sites — publishers, partners, press coverage, a video hosted elsewhere. Those sites are not ours, we do not control what is on them, and a link is not an endorsement of everything there.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Swedish law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website.

Changes

These terms may change. The date above is when this page last changed, and the version on it at the time you use the site is the version that applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law, and the Swedish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Getting in touch

For anything on this page, write to micke@mickehermansson.se. How personal data is handled is set out separately in the privacy policy.
